Creating a Checklist Template

  1. Right-click a template in the list, or left-click a template and click the menu icon , then click Add New. This opens the Manage Checklist Template window.

  2. Enter a name for the template in the Template Name field. Template names must be unique within companies, however name duplication is permitted across companies.

  3. Enter a description of the template in the Description field.

  4. Select a company or companies from the Company drop-down list to assign this template to a company. If you select multiple companies, this template will become a master template, and individual templates with matching details will be created for each selected company after you save (see Master Checklist Templates for more information). To clear your company selection, click .
  5. Select a Checklist Type from the drop-down list. Only active checklist types are shown in the drop-down. See below for an explanation of the default types.

  7. If you wish to make this the current template, tick the Current tick box. This box is only editable if a template of the same checklist type already exists for the company you have selected. If a template of this type does not already exist for the company you have selected, the box will be ticked and locked. If you have not yet selected a company or checklist type, the box will be unticked and locked until you select something for both.   8. Click to save the template.
